To buy or not to buy, that is the question

I mean, I kinda need a new phone too

That is so tempting, and although I'd love the RX10, this would be so useful since it'd be an easy daily device.

Also just testing doing a new post

Wishlist: Sony RX10iv (or RX10v if it ever comes out)

As a phone device, it sure has impressive specs...

The video is a bit hype-ish to get any serious info from, but there might be posted samples about.
Here too is GSMArena's video about it:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_w0E4nqUrDI

There's a bit of AI-ery involved, but I don't know to what extent that would mask the true image
quality. I guess it's on a par with many other phones of its ilk (of the like price range), but look
around the 1/3 mark on the video for some benchmarks. About 2/3 through it's very comprehensive
about the camera system. He talks about having to use manual mode for macro.

    Decisins... Yours, I'm afraid.

I shoot with Sony but use Samsung mobile.

The camera image/video quality on high end mobiles is amazing and I would not buy a cheap phone again.

The mobile is the camera you have with you all the time.

That's why this is so tempting.

I love macro and this has it.

I keep getting the warning about 3G and my current Xperia 5iii not working whenever I try to make a call.

I don't it won't turn as it supports 4G, the network probably just doesn't quite recognise it.

But if it indeed stops working, I at least have a reason to buy, but until then... It's such a tempting choice lol

It's such a recent phone that I would expect it to work on 4G after they close 3G.
Look up your carrier. They will have a test number you can send an SMS to to
check if your phone will work afterwards.

Because my phone is imported (since Sony stopped selling here), looks like the model I got doesn't support VoLTE

    Guess I'm upgrading then
