New monitor advice

Hi all.

I need a new monitor for editing.

27/28"
Good gamut (obviously)
Must have all the settings to allow external calibration.
Budget ~$1,000.

I'm considering the Benq SW272Q.

Suggestions welcome.

Ahh, combing through reviews...

This one by PC World shows some graphs further down that seem to highlight some drawbacks
with this model's contrast. The graphs compare it with other monitors.

It seems a major drawback to me that it has a low contrast for the purposes you need.

The rest of the reviews sure paint it up, though. In the end I still wasn't sure.

I got the Benq SW272Q a few days ago. Very impressed thus far.
