I have my equipment insured through my home policy, but it has payout limits that just don't work for a big lens and R5 camera. Does anyone have a good recommendation about insuring camera equipment? Any advice much appreciated.

Change your insurance company. Any good home policy should cover your cameras provided that you:
(a) list them with your insurance company
(b) pay the extra premium (which is quite small)
(c) are not using them professionally
(d) accept some conditions - usually perfectly sensible, common-sense ones saying "We won't cover you if you do this specific stupid thing".
For professional use you need a camera-specific insurance policy, and it is not cheap. Do not try to cheat by pretending they are for recreational use only when you are (e.g.) doing weddings or real estate jobs - if you have a claim they will find out and refuse to pay you a penny and that will be your own silly fault.
Again, if your insurance company has silly conditions or limits, get rid of them and go to a better one. There are plenty to choose from.
I do not have specific insurance apart from contents insurance - but I did invest in a fireproof safe years ago and I keep all my gear safely lock away when I am not using it. When I travel I invest in travel insurance to cover my gear, although with the price of new bodies and high quality lenses, insurance will never cover 100%.
