Panasonic G9 files photos taken in wrong order

Last night I took 10 photos of the sunset here in Safety Bay, WA on my Panasonic G9.
Later in the evening I just cut and pasted them into my PC as I have always done since August 2018.
The numbers filed were in order from 0 to 9 or 1060790 through to 1060799 but the times for these photos are NOT in sequence.
The third listed photo by time is/was actually the first photo taken.
Besides I know that this third listed photo was the first one I took.
Not only that but the position of the sun in relation to the horizon clearly shows how out of sequence they all are.
The second photo on the list is actually the 8th photo taken by time.
The first listed photo is the same time as three others which makes it actually third equal.
Here are the times in order - 6:46, 6:49, 6:34, 6:43, 6:46, 6:46, 6:46, 6:48, 6:48, 6:50.
How can this be?
Any ideas please?

PS Yes, I have asked Panasonic Australia for a explanation but will have to wait till after the weekend for a reply.

Can you set a somewhat more meaningful file name pattern, like [DATE][TIME]XYZ... on that camera?

Answer:- I shouldn't think so.

Answer:- Possibly and probably judging by the video below but I haven't done any of that since August 2018 when I bought the camera.

Answer:- Not sure what you mean by the last sentence. I have that page in the manual open but don't know what you mean.

None of the other things they ask have ANYTHING to do with the problem.

Anyway, fine how-do-you-dos aside, I don't think it's an insurmountable problem for us here.

How did you go with checking the menus?

Look, it was ages ago on a little old point-and-shoot that I overwrote some files by copying new
images into an existing folder. It was then I realised that you could change the file numbering to be
continuous instead of repeating the sequence with every clearing out of the memory card
