We have been getting smashed with storms in the last few days ....
At least this one passed through quickly, unfortunately taking the power with it !!!!
Thankfully we have a gennie

This is actually power line, more power lines and power pole.
Bugga, what happened to the power?
I'd prefer a genie over a gennie. I wish.

And a lot of good they were Still no power !!
I kinda like both ... But this genie is worth its weight in gold at the moment.
The other kind might be handy if we get some trees blown over and the tractor goes on the blitz

Welcome back Cargo. At least the storms should help cool it down. Gladstone rarely gets storms - during the recent heatwave there would be lightning all around us in the distance but no storm. . Raining here at present which is good as we need it. Hope you didn't lose power for too long.

Power is on now .... not sure what time it came on. Townsville to Mackay copped it last night ..... powers out everywhere down there. I hope thats it for a while.
Good to see your getting rain , surprisingly we didn't get a hell of lot.

Sorry to read that cargo same in Brisbane the weekend before last, trees branches down everywhere and no power for 24 hours.

Love those ominous skies. We’ve been pretty light on storms and rain this summer too, down on the sunny central coast of nsw. Good luck enduring the storms.

I really like it, Cargo, especially the way you have used the power lines to reinforce the diagonal theme. But ... if I'm going to be honest ... when it comes to genies, I like this one more.
