How Do I:Trip to New Zealand

I am heading to Queenstown, New Zealand for a holiday with my friend next week and the first that I pack will of course be the 5DM3 and I was wondering if anyone had any hot tips of things that we should see and photograph? I am plan on taking heaps of photos, my friend plans on being in most of them!! But any advice that you can offer me would be greatly appreciated!!
