Hi there,
I stumbled across some keen photographers this evening by accident down by the Nepean weir whilst wandering around trying to snap a pic of the gorgeous sunset. A lovely lass (whose name I didn't catch) told me about this site & suggested I take a look and join up.
Am literally only just getting into photography again - and this is my first attempt with digital. My previous photography experiences were with film & darkrooms (which i loved passionately) but unfortunately due to work, moving house, child, partner, life etc I couldn't find the time & the hobby fell by the wayside.... for almost 10 years.
But late last year a friend asked why I ever stopped doing something I got so much enjoyment out of, which made me question myself.
So my New Years resolution this year was to take at least 1 photo everyday and turn my hobby into a habit. So far I have suceeded in sticking to it all but 1 day (due to being sick).
I'm still very much in the learning stages, getting acquainted with my camera, its functions & features. Actually looking AT things as I go through life, rather than going through life with the world a blur. Its amazing how many things we pass by every day & never really see until we begin to look at the world differently.
So.... here I am.
Please feel free to offer any advice and constructive criticism as this is the best learning tool available.
Cheers
