:gday: I am entering forum for the first time..
I have been using a Cannon EOS 60d for the past 12 months with the usual wide angle and tele lens. I am fortunate to be able to move in and around many remote communities in FNQ and NT where unique (respectful) photo opportunities are never ending..I have been moved to frustration recently as my photos are OK but not great SO...yesterday I lashed out and purchased a cannon 5d mark11 and a 24-105mm lens as a cost effective Kit purchase + an EF 50mm F/1.8 11 lens? to start..plus one speedlite 430EX11 and a pro 1 digital filter...WOW the 5D is amazing, however, I am feeling a bit inadequate, hope I can make the purchase worth while and pray I don't surrender to the automatic settings..
I will be keen to seek advice on what sensible equip I can save up for....I love shooting remote tropical locations, landscapes and like most... I truly want my photos to reflect the magic that I see...I am keen to improve my abilty to take good photos of friends and portraits...so any tips I can get via the forum goss will be great....
cheers Simon
