I'm also in the same boat. For a while life got in the way of itself, combined with a complete lack of motivation (or inspiration) I took an extended holiday from taking any shots. Hopefully with the new year I can get off my backside and actually commit to taking some decent photos. I think it was a case of spending too long getting frustrated trying to get the perfect shot, and not enough time just enjoying taking photo's. Lets see what the new year has to offer.
