View Full Version : To good to be true - Scam, stolen gear or refurbished??
Stumbled across a listing in the Trading Post for a D3x for $2,999
While shown as a private Melbourne listing, it is really from an online 'shop'- AffordablePhotoCamera.com based in the US.
Price seems waaay too good to be true, even for grey market items.
D700 for $900 USD. 5DII for $1299 USD .......Hmmmm Is it a rat I smell?
I'll have 10 of each.
Steer clear!
Same old same old scams that are everywhere (http://www.buy-n-shoot.com/component/option,com_mtree/Itemid,27/task,viewlink/link_id,9722/) and totally unbelievable.
The one advertised at the linked address has been there for weeks and the site owners simply don't remove them.
Mind you, I am sure there are plenty the same on fleabay as well but people still seem to use that shocking site as well.
