New guy from Adelaide

Hi all,

Another introduction from someone new. I'm a virgin to photography above the everyday 'point and shoot' stuff. My fiance and I just purchased a Canon 550D. We're using an older lens she had on her 35mm EOS300 that seems to work ok for now.

We'd really like to get into landscapes, especially to take some photos of our property and old stone ruin south of Adelaide.

Here's one of my first pics of our cat, playing around with the macro settings.

Welcome to AP. You need to post larger photos for critique as its hard to give good quality CC on small ones. So pull up a chair and head over to the CC forums and get amongst it!
