Hi all, I hope this is the right place to post this kind of question. I am having an issue working out how to view my images in the size that I want them printed at. I think in photoshop, you can set the document size, and then view that document at 100 % and that will give a good representation of what the image looks like in print - it shows up all the imperfections and things... my question is does anyone know how/whether this can be done in gimp or another freeware program? I have an image that Im wanting to print to a large size (36' by 12' panoramic) and I need to view it at that size before I print it out...

cheers, David

Hi David I'm not sure about Gimp but do know Photoshop some...I size my images at 12x8s and when viewed in windows they are much larger then the 12x8 saved at...Make sure you res it at 300 psi...
