For anyone in Melbourne or central Victoria (Australia) I highly recommend seeing the exhibition detailed below at the Bendigo Art Gallery. It's even free.
It's a collection of some of the finest black and white prints you are ever likely to see, mostly vintage or printed during the life time of the respective photographers. If you love the work of the likes of C.S Bull, George Hurrell or similar Hollywood greats then you have to be nuts to miss this.
