But yes - this is exactly why I started photography - recording the moments in still image with my family, or certain subject/time/place/event.

thanks for sharing. I have tears in my eyes now......I needed that. Life is so fleeting and we can`t spend enough time with the ones we really love.

With a grand baby on the way this year I think after reading this I may put learning portraiture skills down as a must do. Very touching story.
