Hey all, i bought the K5 not long ago and now the light of the reading in the VF is dead...
Sobs...
Should i bother repairing it?
The VF light in is a must, as you can not see what the settings are in changing conditions,if you have not had it for long it will be under warranty ,so there will
be no cost for repair, only time without camera.
Jack.
So what you are saying is that there is no info in your viewfinder.
No shutter speed, aperture, in-focus light, nothing?
Gee, I'd be getting it fixed, otherwise you will only be shooting in Auto and hoping the camera is doing it's thing.
How long have you had it? "Not long ago' seems to say it may still be under warranty.
I wish I hadn't read this post 'coz I'm picking up a new K5 tomorrow from DCW. At least I know they're authorised distributors.
Double post.
Dunno what happened.
