Hey all,

Sam's the name, I'm from Sydney NSW and I have a keen interest in reptiles (keeper/breeder) and photography.

I have always enjoyed taking photo's (especially of wildlife) but have only used P&S cameras in the past. I acquired my first DSLR recently (Canon 60D) and have been playing around with the 18-135mm kit lens and also purchased a Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens.

I'm learning more and more with each day that passes with camera in hand, and have no doubt that I will learn a great deal from the members of this forum.

Once I am a bit more confident with my images, I will upload some to get critiqued! :)

Hi Sam, welcome to AP.

Why not upload some photos soon, people here are very skilled and generally really helpful and with the greater knowledge they can provide your confidence will no doubt improve.

I will definitely be uploading some pictures over the new couple of weeks or so once I go through and pick some favourites etc. as I would like to get as many tips and ideas as possible.
