hi everyone,
not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I have discovered a great and useful app called 'planets' (only works on iphone 3gs or later though) you can view the night sky in either 2D or 3D view, it also uses the inbuilt compass and accelerometer so that if you hold your iphone up infront of the sky it will show you what constellation is there and planets etc... this is a free app bu there are other ones that look a bit more advance in some way and also cost a few dollars...
So now with this i can find out what is where and get some good snaps :th3:
oh and i think there are a few that can be used on the latest iPod touch that uses the inbuilt gyroscope...
