I found this one by chance in a second hand shop. For the princely sum of $5, I figured I couldn't go too far wrong

Tamron 135mm 1:2.8 (BBAR Multi C, 55mm dia filter thread) in reasonable condition

Thought I'd get a real world opinion from here before shelling out for an Adaptall adapter.

Were these any good? I have only had a quick play with this on my EPL1 (With the Tamron lens taped onto my nikon to m4/3 adaptor......a triumph of duct tape engineering:D) Sample shot below.

@ least the adapter will be useful for other Tamron BBar lenses you might chance across. How much shelling is involved? (Is it peanuts?)
I have one such (adaptall mount) that I have used with 2 lenses on my film camera (in the past).

Seems to vary between $15 and $50 on the internet.

About 20 yrs ago I paid $25 for one, so those prices aren't too bad. (At the same time I paid $50 for a Tamron 2x converter.)

I love adaptall glass on my 5dii. I own your lens and a few others.

It's the SP glass that is best

My 180/2.5 is stupidly sharp

Same with 300/2.8, even with a TC installed.

It's worth playing with. U can get some great glass if u are ok with manual focus/aperture.
