Hi,
My first camera back around 1969 was a Canon FT QL + a zoom lens, a few years back I
purchased an Olympus 750 it has good 10x zoom and with a metal body but after seeing
what a friends Canon DSLR could do - accurate colours etc. I purchased a Canon 5D with the
24-105 L II lens and then got a 70-200 f/2.8 L IS plus 2x extender.
I'm over 60 years old with a crook back and so not as active as you young fellows so I don't
get about as well or as often as I'd like but when I do I'm usually around the port (Fremantle)
or along the coast somewhere as ships etc. are my usual subjects but I keep my eyes open for
other possibilities.
I'll be perusing this sites sponsors for a suitably sturdy wheeled camera bag and also some
lens cleaning advice to get the sea spray off the filter.
I'm a little intimidated by the quality of the photos I see here but I'll tag along for a while :)
