Hi, I am new to photography and am waiting for a camera I ordered (Canon 60D) to be delivered. Not sure what I will be shooting, but will be open to ideas.

Welcome. What you shoot is usually based on your own interests before you get the camera. So think about what you like doing..is it checking out the scenery, watching animals/birds, flowers and plants, perhaps you are a social person and spend lots of time with friends/family. Once you recognise what you enjoy doing now, you will then most likely know what you will like to photograph.

Camera arrived today, had a quick play with it, very nice. Shame I will be working the next 4 days. Battery charging at the moment.
