Hi,

My name is Berlinda and I am from Nabiac in the Mid North Coast of NSW. I have been recommended by a friend to join this forum to better my Photography. I have been wanting to do photography for many, many years but could never afford the camera, but I finally have bought a second hand one and I can start experimenting. I have a Canon EOS 450D and I love landscape photography and taking photo's of animals.

I have no idea how this forum works but I am sure I will get the hang of it soon, as well as my photography!

Welcome :action66: Berlinda, I'm sure will will get the hang of the site reasonably easily as its laid out well. The library has a lot of info in it as well. I have the same camera and love it even though it doesn't always do what I want it too :laughing1:

Hello Berlinda and Welcome to AP. Nothing wrong with that camera one of my daughters have one..
It wont take you long to get the hang of the Forum.
Have a look on the New To Photography Book And Forum (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Indexes:New_To_Photography_Book) Plenty to read and learn on there.
Or start posting your photos on the Forums for CC..

Maybe have a look at the New to Photography (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php?title=Books:New_To_Photography_Book) book and the Learning Plan in the book.

Thanks Mat, if I can get my photo's on! I tried putting 2 in the Macro section but it just doesn't look right how I did it. I will keep trying

Click on LIBRARY on the main menu, Click on HOW DO I, and there are articles in there on posting photos and linking them in from the major photo hosting sites. Hope that assists.
