There are numerous threads re. weddings and photography. Also plenty of wedding photographs.
So how many times have you been married?
I've be married once (1988) and my better half still hasn't given me the flick, so I'd be happy for that to be my one and only wedding in my life.:confused013

I'm married on #1

I think a few that split forget the for better for worse part of the deal

Nevertheless staying in a long term unhappy marriage is a waste of happiness in your life too

Twice for me.

We only get one go at this life and if your not happy move on.

I have been happily married for 25 years this year and wouldnt change a thing.

Looks like "Third time's the charm" doesn't apply to weddings based on the stats! LOL.

Kiwi, I would love to believe that is true,
But having had my heart broken this year when my now ex-wife asked me for a divorce (not to mention other less refined behaviour) I just can't agree. I think its a matter of both people taking the vows to heart, not just one of you. My moment of truth came when I realised there was no way I could make the woman I loved happy, and in some ways I was grateful that I realised it now and not 14 years down the track when some poor kid had to suffer as well.

So 1 marriage of 18 months, and now Im left out in the world to wander and wonder whether there is someone else out there for me, and if I will marry again (and tbh I probably will).

Twice, if you count my first wife dying very early. Our daughter was 12mths old.

Got remarried a couple of yrs later, had 2 more daughters. Divorced 5 or 6 years after that.

Been happily single for about the last 10 years.

Photographic gear doesn't get angry if you come home with a new model. :D

Having said that, I've been very happily married to the same wonderful lady (Mrs Benny) for over 33 years.

I think the real trick in marriage is to know the faults of the person you are going to marry, and after careful consideration, realising that you can easily and happily live with those faults.
If your future parter has faults that you can't stand, don't marry them.

Men marry women hoping they will never change, but they always do.
Women marry men hoping that they CAN change them, but they never can.

Men give love to get sex.
Women give sex to get love - and never the twain shall meet.

sorry over my head

It's usually when someone -like a friend or family member uses anothers computer while their facebook account is logged in and dishes out flattering comments about themselves, purporting to be from the original user.

My kids have attacked mine occasionally with self appraising comments..and also announced to the world-- (well the 30 or 40 friends & family I have on there anyway) that I've decided to come out of the closet and rejoice in the fact I'm actually Gay.....which so happens I'm not.........(not that there's anything wrong with that..) :D

Sounds like revenge of the worst kind is in order to me Art, can't you invade their accounts with lots of references to how they love Sesame Street or something else equally ghastly.
