My name is Jan, I have some background in art (oil painting and graphic/digital design). I purchased my first DSLR a year ago and apart from some point and shoot pics mainly of my grandkids, it has sat on my desk!... well it's about time I took this camera off "auto pict" learned how to drive the thing.
