Newbie from the ACT

Hi All

well I'm fairly new to photography....I've always had a massive interest in it but was never able to afford a DSLR, just had a trusty point and shoot. However I was given a DSLR for my birthday in August this year so I'm extremely excited and I can't wait to learn everything there is about photogaphy from the members at Ausphotography.

I'm rather interested in taking landscape shots and also shots of my beautiful dogs. The equipment that I am using is a Canon 60D with a 55-250mm (and the 18-135mm lens which came with the camera) lens but I am currently looking at purchasing a 10-22mm lens once I can actually afford it :)
