Hi Guys,

I tried to find a similar post that may have been able to answer my question, but no luck so I'll just ask.

I'm heading out on the water to get some pictures of dolphins and jumping manta ray, it'll be broad daylight.
I'm wondering if;
1. I use only a polarizing filter
2. I use only a lens hood
3. I use both lens hood and polarizing filter

I hope it's as easy as that!

Thanks!

You will want option 3 as the lens hood helps protect the suns rays from causing flare through your lens and the polariser will take the glare off the water that will affect your photo. Enjoy your trip.

polariser is great for glare, but makes UWA sky look wierd. test and see.
