New to Sydney and Photography

Hi all. Just stumbled across this place, and thought I'd pop in and become all official.

Just recently moved to Sydney (from Perth, and from Brisbane originally), and thought I'll pull my finger out and do what I wanted to do a long time ago and start taking some real photos. Just ordered myself a Canon 60D that is on it's way as we speak, so I can't wait to start learning about it all.

To the Mod team and Administrator of the site, thank you in advance for all the information I'm sure I'll be able to garner over the coming years.

Fellow users, also, thankyou for welcoming a newbie into your ranks.

Haha yeah that's for sure. Perth definitely was a pretty place, Sydney has far more character though.

Welcome aboard Scott, the "New to Photography" book is full of great advice (free, link near top of this page), as is the forum in general. Picked up my 60D a couple of weeks ago and loving it. Great fun.
