Hello Everyone!
I ventured to Brisbane last weekend to see my all time favourite band Switchfoot play at the Easterfest in Toowoomba.
After an hour and a half of lining up to get their autographs :th3:, my friend and I got our spot in front of the stage 3hours before they were due to come on. An hour into the wait it started bucketing down. After 2hours of waiting in the rain the officials were trying to make a decision whether or not to let them play due to the dangers of flooding. It was not till later on that we heard of the collapse of one of the main tents.
To our relief and excitement they were aloud to play and the moment they walked on to the stage everyone forgot about the rain. Jon Foreman was such a great sport that he walked out onto the strip that lead into the crowed and got drenched with us!! It was the best experience that i have ever had. A week later and i am still grinning from the adventure :p
Here are a few photos i took with my little point and shoot. Lucky i decided against taking my Canon 350D because everything i had with me got completely soaked (including my signed poster),

but i can't think of anything more worth it :love0:
Looking forward to their reported return to Australia next year! :animal3:
