Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens - Sunday 1st May

Sorry, not much notice for this meet but wondered if anybody wanted to drive up to Mt Tomah Gardens next Sunday. We could make this a macro/ landscape meet - there should be lots of colour by now. I have a few things coming up on my calendar so really this is the only day that I can make it. If we leave it any later we run the risk of there being no leaves on the trees.
I would suggest that we meet up there at 10am which is the opening time of the garden.

Great to have you along Bec - there will be plenty of other photo opportunities other than macro. Lots of mountain scenery and maybe some wildlife.

Be good to catch up Tony, haven't seen you for ages, thought you might have moved to China permanently or something. :P For those who want to give macro a go but don't have a dedicated lens, I'll be bringing my Kenko extension tubes for those who want to try them out (for those who made the smart choice and bought Nikon of course). :)

Hi guys, as much as I'd love to come tomorrow I won't be making an appearance. Bit of a traumatic day as my little model fell off her scooter and so after a trip to the dentist & doctors I need a day to recover. You'll have to take your own group shot :D See you all soon.

Narelle - Danielle broke off part of one front tooth but it can be repaired & has a big fat front lip. It broke my heart to see her with blood pouring out. I was in shock more than her I think! The driveway has a lot to answer for! :) Luckily she's been as happy as ever today.
