I would like to try some photography from the Q1 Observation deck. This is glassed-in & you get reflections off the glass. How do I avoid this, Please.
One idea I think may work is a flexible rubber lens hood, that can be pressed up against the glass & flexible enough to bend a little to help aiming, so as to keep the reflections out ?
Cheers

Use a polarising filter, which greatly reduces reflections.
And yes, place the lens as close to the window as possible.
Naturally, make sure you don't use a flash. :-)
If you can find a nice clean section of glass, I think you will have nothing to worry about. Put your left hand ON the window and cup the end of your lens in it. You should still be able to aim downwards and keep your hand out of shot. Look forward to seeing the results.

Tripod and set up with the lens as close to the glass as you can.
Did you know that you can get a yearly pass for $ 29-00 at the moment. Have to be local.

I've always thought about getting up there in an Electrical storm, It gets hit plenty some nights , Mind you !! It would be very loud and scarey  But it would look impressive hitting that big Conductor :th3: PS : The other tip I learnt about the Q1 is check to see what dates the windows are being cleaned , They can get very mucky from the Salt Spray
