Actually he said to me this morning let's get it :) I'm a lucky girl aren't I? We've both been working our buts off so he said we should enjoy ourselves while we can. Mind you, I think he wants a new tv lol

Very nice indeed.
Hopefully when you get sucked into buying too many lenses you will come out not too worse for wear :D
I remember thinking I had evrything I needed when I had a 10-22, 60mm macro and 18-200. Disturbingly, that was only 2 years ago  hehehe

....
I bet not nearly as excited as I am disappointed! :p .... I really had hopes that you'd see the light and join us Nikon folk. Oh well never mind.
Any camera is a good camera(from memory, I think you had a Sony?)
anyhow.. I really can't get your husbands reaction tho ... it's not like you spent $100 on something silly like a dress, or 12 pair of shoes(again!)
I mean it's a camera ... is he less educated than everyone else? ... doesn't he realise how important a camera is?
Why isn't his reaction one of celebratory cork popping with the accompanying flood of champagne?(or sparkling wine as it's now called!)
I think he needs re eduction... or most likely!!.... maybe his mindset is similar to mine ... why not a Nikon!?
(so maybe he's not as strange as I initially thought he was!)
.. all silly jokes aside .. congrats and happy hunting with it.
Congrats on the new 60D...Looking forward to seeing the reaults :th3:

I'll leave that one alone on a public forum.......................
The equivalent lens size is not too hard.
The lens is going to fill a small rectangle (sensor) with less image.
A big rectangle will get more image, but the objects will be the same size, just some will be cut off on the small sensor.

Happy to see you got your new toy. What a great opportunity over Easter to get out there and start snapping away. Enjoy it and be sure to post some of your photos soon, we're all as 'keen as mustard' to share your enjoyment :)
