G'Day all, this is my first post after the introduction. On Australia Day, a thick fog came into Botany Bay at noon, just as we were to start a sailing race. I was out on a boat and wanted to capture the feeling.
I took this shot at f8 1/250 ISO 100 and 60mm with a 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS USM Canon lens on a 50D. As I was on a boat I didn't use a tripod. It didn't capture the mood I wanted to and when I tried to enhance the photo it looked very artificial.
How can I take a better photo in future that captures the mood of a fog and is there any processing I can use to improve this image in Photoshop CS3?
