there's no North Bris group, but there is one here for S.E. QLD http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/group.php?groupid=2
Check this forum regularly http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?97-QLD most of the meets are around the Brisbane area.
