I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to by a converter to be able
to put a minolta lens on a canon body?
I no on the old SLR's you could do this.
steve.
It looks like you can get an adapter - Minolta MD to Canon EOS Focusing Lens Mount Adapter: |From DinoDirect.
http://www.dinodirect.com/Minolta-MD-Lens-to-Canon-EOS-Focusing-Lens-Mount-Adapter-currency-AUD.html
Not sure how useful it would be as it would be totally manual or aperture only.
Not expensive though
Good luck.

Be prepared to wait for it though.
The last time i bought something from Dino, in December 2010, it took around 3 weeks to get here.
Mind you, the LED light I bought from them works really well, especially considering it only cost $50.
I've seen similar units on sale for $200, so I guess I shouldn't grumble too much.
I've never bought anything from this site. I guess if the adapter exists it must be procurable elsewhere.
