pentax K/PK lens adaptors

Have numerous K-mount lenses for my pentax cameras and was looking for Lens adaptors to see how they would work with my canon 5D2??..Came upon the above adaptor and was wandering if anyone has gone down this track before and how they work or do the job???..
Are they worthwhile??..

Novoflex makes adaptors, however with pentax lenses you typically have to do some lens surgery to make them usable on canon camera bodies otherwise you run the risk of damaging your reflex mirror. Personally I would just buy a K10D second hand and use the lenses they way they were intended.

It really depends on the lenses you have. There are some pentax lenses that are just so good that it would a federal offence to alter their mounts in order to use them on a camera that they weren't designed for.
