Equipment Hire around NSW/Canberra

Hey guys

I'm off to Bathurst to cover the 12 hour race in Feb, and I'm trying to scuddle up either a 400mm or same sort of zoom. anyway I can only seem to find upto the 70-200 is available for hire. I can understand why companies wouldn't hire these kind of big lenses out willy nilly. But i'm just throwing it out there if anyone knows of anywhere or anyone that is willing to let me borrow something around that size (Nikkor) not sigma or any other brand that would be awesome. I really should start saving my pennies and invest in one!

you might be able to arrange it through ECS in Drummoyne. I know when they had one SH for sale, someone was out one weekend 'test driving' it, reasonably so since it's a fairly hefty investment. Maybe also try Nikon. Worst case get the 80-400.
