One Pleased Greyhound

Was on a stand at a Pet expo with my retired racing greyhound when I heard laughter,
my dog had crept onto the couch that was there and made himself at home without me noticing. Just managed to grab a quick photo on my point and shoot before he buried his head behind a cushion.

I love the pleased expression on his face.

I am new to photography and haven't quite mastered the settings on my new camera yet :)
Practice makes perfect they say.

Grew up racing greyhounds and they can be a really beautiful dog, with lovely natures. Nice shot and brought back some great memories.

Its a very nice shot indeed of a lucky and happy dog. Greyhounds are such nice natured dogs I always find.

They would especially love to show their affectionate side to those mechanical rabbits they chase around the track - if only they could catch them! :-)

Got to love that face - he does look happy. I look forward to one day having a greyhound for a pet, at present our rented house is just not suitable for a dog.
