Silver Efex Pro™ along with Lightroom 3

I use silver efex exclusively for my mono conversions. Have tried lots of different ways, but Silver Efex is the one I have stuck with.

Ok purchased Silver Efex Pro™ arrived yesterday now to get it up and running

Go the the Nik Software site and download the trial, that's the best way to decide if it is for you.

As mentioned previously with HDR Efex Pro, you can run the Lightroom version of Silver Efex as a stand-alone program.
I have set it up as one of the 'Edit with...' programs in Photo Mechanic, and it opens and processes the file, then saves the Mono version.
I use Capture NX2 as my main editor, and I really like the Nik software, so I can use it without buying Lightroom or Photoshop.
