cokin p series

does the cokin p series fit a canon 10-22 mm lens as well as sigma 18-50mm lens as i have purchased from ebay hoping they would fit.

Yes, you can.

The filter adapter will basically fit onto any lens so long as you have the adapter ring to mount it on.

However, with the 10-22 be aware you will almost certainly strike so problems in the P-Series

As Scotty says, the wider lenses can be an issue with the P system where the filter holder is visible in the photos. This occurs generally through the 10-14 mm range, and is not specific to the canon lens, rather all wide angle lenses. However, a small crop of the resultant photos and you are generally good to go.
