Hey Guys.

Finally after 2 years of wilful resistance I have decided to bite the bullet and learn post processing for my images. I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3.0 on my computer now and want to go and do a course on Photoshop in Brisbane.

There is no doubt online ones you can do but I am a hands on, interactive learner so I am prepared to pay for a proper course or alternatively pay an experienced tog 50.00 an hour to teach me the basics over a few weeks once a night kind of arrangement.

Any suggestions about formal courses or offers of individual coaching from someone VERY experienced would be much appreciated. I live on the North side of Brisbane.

Cheers-

There are lots of tutes and examples on websites and youtube.
Scott Kelby books are also very good.

Personally I find it more effective to research and study myself. I generally find courses weak.

David have a look at your local community colleges they often run PS courses.
Alternatively contact member [kane] he/they have recently started a digital photography workshop business in Brisbane, mostly location/portrait stuff from there web site http://www.digitalphotographycourses.com.au/dusk-workshop-66.html
but you might be able to work some thing out with him/them.

David,
I recently did a PS course at TAFE. It did not give me what I was looking for, but I have a better understanding of PS, and now when I read a PS book or online tut, I know what they are talking about. Also some of the course are aimed at graphic artists, so look for something that is for a photographer.
