I'm going to join in and say .. we in Waikiki WA also had frost. One week ago on a friday I believe it was. I was about to drive one child to school, the other was home sick. I seatbelted by 3.5yo up and put the wipers on for the back and saw they didn't work.. Wondered what was wrong .. so get out and slide my finger across the window and to my surprise .. 'omg it was FROST !!'. I squeeled in delight to my 11yo daughter and said 'jess it's frost .. come look' .. was a big thrill lol. I took some into the car for my little one to look at. After dropping Jess off at school we came back and went to the next door neighbours 'verge' and touched the frosty grass as it was the only bit left that the sun hadn't hit.
It really is true, the simplest things in life are often the best. :)
Garry, looks like you would have some nice dreamy mornings aswell as the frosty ones :)
yummymummy - love the car windscreen, do you have long fingernails ?
ps: we lived in Cairns for 3yrs and never encountered frost (that I remember but it was 10yrs ago).

haha! that's awesome! :D we get frost here on a regular basis, every morning in fact. I missed out on a sunrise shoot the other morning because of it, the doors on the tarago were actually frozen shut!
I do have long fingernails :)
