luck with ebay battery grips for d90

Has anyone had any recent luck/success with a 3rd party battery grip for a nikon d90? I have read many of the postings on the forum, regarding this subject, and have found mixed results, mostly negative, from over a year ago. Some of the offers on Ebay are awfully tempting, especially those including 2 batteries and a remote.
Or am I just reiterating what has been said again and again, you get what you pay for?
