Went for a wander down the driveway this arvo and couldn't help but notice I was being watched (and not just by the chickens who thought I might have treats for them).

Just goes to show, even with all the deadly creatures in Australia, you still need to watch out for the plants too ;-)

Well I have been considering mixing up some poison for the weeds...



It reminded me of this tree (http://richardhall.smugmug.com/Various/Misc/2009-09-15IMG3014Scary-Mallee/845186338_wCJUM-X3.jpg) I photographed last year, not quite so angry, but definitely scary! :D

Now that's a pretty amazing tree.

Sounds like our driveway after dark ;-)

(closest street light is way down in the bottom of the valley - a good 800m as the crow flies)

It looks like one of the trees out of H.R Puff 'n' Stuff lol.
