Hi,

I am using Lightroom for importing my raw files and edit them.

Lightroom has the possibility to set a default for each iso setting and camera model on importing files.

Means, it will apply certain cettings (e.g. +10 vibrance, noise reduction, sharpening) to all image with the same iso setting, camera model etc. ...

I was wondering if you ever changed these defaults and if so what did you change?

I recently changed mine added a bit of sharpening, vibrance and according to the ISO increased the lightroom noise reduction.

What do you think about that?

cheers,

Mirc

Hi Mirc,
I have a TONNE of post processing 'defaults' it all depends on what I am trying to achieve - you can actually download a lot (for free and some for a charge) from the Adobe Lightroom website and then tailor them to your needs.

In almost all of my post processing I 'up' the blacks & vibrance a little, so have just created new 'develop settings' for each thing I like the look of (ie my own Sepia, B&W, Slide look etc etc)

Thanks for the answer Cath.

Any other ideas on that topic?

Cheers.
