Hi guys, just wondering what workflow you all use.
I shoot in Raw and covert to .dng when I import to a Post Production folder. I then get rid of the bad ones and send a copy of the good ones to a backup external drive.
I use ACR to do most of the basic adjustments and then PS to finish off. I then save as a .psd and .jpg. I send the .psd to the external drive and keep the .jpg on my main pc.
I keep thinking that I'm doubling up on my backups .psd and .dng, but my thinking is I want a copy of my PP image (.psd) in case I want to adjust it a bit more and forget what PP I'd already done.
Does this workflow make sense, or am I just using up a lot of room for no real advantage.
I hope I've explained myself clearly enough so you understand where I'm trying to come from.
