Don`t know if this has been posted here before but found this on another board.:th3:

Interesting Windows 7 Trick

Want a centralized control panel for all of window's settings? Use GodMode:

To enter "GodMode," one need only create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

I tried this with Win 7 x64 and it worked. I created the folder on the desktop. Works with Vista as well.

Helpful to have all your settings in one big list - hopefully some here will find it useful.:)

It does not give you any more powa ... it just puts all the important controls in one place.
Very handy!

Done.

I don't like having folders on the desktop so I created the Godmode folder elsewhere and placed a shortcut on the desktop. :th3:

Thanks Dave. I now have a GodMode Control Panel on my desktop.

I know it works fine on our vista (32 bit ) laptop - but I just read that it might cause crashes on Vista 64 bit :(

Yea Phil I dont like folders on the desktop either, but when you re-name the folder it transforms automatically into a control panel icon ;)
