It was nice to catch up with Rick & David again and to meet you Ellen at the Cascade Brewery. Played around with some post processing as sky was non-existant still not sure about how they turned out, particular the first one.

I like the second here Rachel. That wonderful old walnut tree provided a great framing opportunity eh. I hope to get the chance to have a look at my shots this evening.

It's a great building. I This is one I took a couple of years ago when I was down visiting Mum. It is from across the road in the visitor centre gardens.
I hate this site sometimes, I don't have permission to post again! I do get sick of having to load stuff into Photobucket.

I can't believe where they stick street lights theses days( 1st pic), don't they have any consideration for photographers. :D it sure is a great old building, I too like the 2nd, looks really foreboding.

Hi Rachel, I prefer the 2nd shot. Love the framing of the leaves and I think the B&W suits the era of the building. Nicely done.
Nice shots Rachael! Nice to meet you too. I still haven't had a chance to look at mine yet, hopefully early next week.
