To open an image into Photoshop from Lightroom: I have been going edit in>>photoshop....... and then I end up with the awful "edit" in the name :(
Just got onto this one>>export PSD to the same folder you are working in; then go edit>>> Photoshop>>>edit original; there is no "edit" in the name.
If you need to open the same file into PS again without LR adjustments; just go edit in>> Photoshop >>open original
or if you have done LR adjustments just do the export thing again using a new unique name and Lightroom adds -2 to the file name which to me is so much tidier.
Make yourself an export preset; works a treat. ;)
