Opening jpg files in Adobe Camera Raw

Sorry if this has been posted before. I might be way behind the times so it's new to me and I thought it might be helpful to others

I've just found out that you can open jpg files in Adobe Camera Raw From Photoshop by going to > File> Open dialog box, locate the file you want to open in Raw, select it then use the popup menu "FORMAT" in the Open Dialog box to select "Camera Raw".

Cool, I didn't know that! I just tried it in PS Elements. You need to go to 'File > Open As' to do it.
