Ok I'm wanting to get a light tent, i remember rick posting about this one (http://www.crazysales.com.au/80cm-white-photo-studio-soft-light-photographic-tent-cube-with-4-backdrops_p1906.html#proName) but i also saw this one (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/32-80cm-Studio-Photo-Light-Tent-Cube-Soft-Box-Softbox_W0QQitemZ150385833140QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cameras_Photographic_Accessories?hash=item2303b1b4b4) on ebay.

which do you think is the better of the two?

I would make one, but I don't have a lot of space, so I need something that is portable.

They look exactly the same to me. The eBay one is $2 cheaper.

I tried making a usable light tent once and it wasn't worth the drama. I say that for under $40 you cant go wrong .. they even come with colored backgrounds :)

I picked an ebay one that is collapsible and it was delivered to my door for under $40. Looks pretty much the same as the ebay link you posted. Works fine for me.

yeah i don't want the drama, and collapsible works good for me.

I'll just buy the one from the oz website, that way I'll get it faster :p

I picked up one on eBay as well, but found later that for a small amount extra I could have had a couple of lights. If I were buying again I'd hunt for one with lights included.

Any idea where you found the box and lights?
Just looking on E-Bay there is a reasonable setup going for $160 delivered, but just wondering if there is anything cheaper again?

I purchased one last week it was full price as I needed it the next day for a short noticed job, paid $80 the brand name was GLANZ which is identical to the one Rick suggested for half the price. You get the tent in a small bag with white, black, blue and red back drops also a front material panel which you can clearly see in the photo he sent. I would go for that one only because I have experience with it and don't know how sturdy the other one is. I wish I had time to shop around it would of paid for my lights with that sort of money I spent. Good luck!
