Things You Find Down The Beach

Well it was dead, but was pretty massive nearly a metre with tentacles outstreched - didn't know we had octopus (i gather its one) that large near the front beaches here ...

Must say I've never actually found one washed up, but they are very common amoung the diving fraternity...seen and teased one maybe 2 to 3 times as big as that once while diving...scary encounter to say the least.

This is the 1st time I've ever one on a beach here - everyone walking past was stopping to look at it
